The development of hot aerosol fire suppression technology
Generally, hot aerosol fire extinguishing technology has developed
from a generation I oil tank suppression system to a generation III
strontium salt based S-type system. S-type hot aerosol fire
extinguishing technology greatly solves the corrosion problem of
electrical devices and electronics compared to potassium salt based
generation I & II hot aerosol fire extinguishing technology.

Fireless is developed from Chinese Military smoke technology and has been widely only used in Chinese military for several
decades, in recently years, it is transferred to civil use.
Fireless technology is not a company technology, it is on behalf of
Chinese military technology. It carry out the Weapon Equipment Quality Certification System, which is the only aerosol fire technology in China.

First generation smoke extinguishing
The first generation of aerosol extinguishing technology, also
known as smoke extinguishing technology, was born in China in the
early 1960s. It is completed by the scientific research personnel
of tianjin fire research institute of public security. They
independently developed the smoke automatic fire extinguishing
system, which is mainly used to extinguish the fire of liquid
storage tanks of category a, b and c.This is a new fire-fighting
technology which is different from the past. It includes both smoke
and fog, fine solid particles, and aerosols formed by water vapor,
N2 and CO2.
Second generation K aerosol extinguishing
K-type aerosol fire-extinguishing technology, also known as
potassium salt fire-extinguishing technology, is the second stage
of the development of aerosol fire-extinguishing technology,
developed by Beijing institute of technology.The aerosol generator
mainly uses nitrate of potassium as the main oxidant, and its spray
has high extinguishing efficiency, but because it contains a large
number of potassium ions, it is easy to absorb moisture, forming a
sticky conductive material.This substance is very destructive to
electronic equipment, so k-type aerosol automatic fire
extinguishing device cannot be used in electronic equipment and
precision instruments.Use in the market is declining rapidly.
Third generation S aerosol extinguishing
The third generation of aerosol type (S) is mainly composed of
strontium salt background antioxidant, and the second generation of
potassium (K) aerosol, strontium ions not hygroscopic, won't form a
conductive solution, will not cause damage to electrical equipment,
In 2001, after strict inspection and verification, China mobile
communications group finally selected strontium salt aerosol to
protect its communication base stations and other places equipped
with precision electronic equipment. At present, strontium salt
aerosol products have been used in thousands of engineering
projects, so far there has been no accident of damage to electronic
equipment, the third generation of aerosol has been more and more
accepted by the majority of users.
